Our Team

Our strong management team have enormous experience in the commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance industry, and each member brings a new perspective and unique skill-set to Total Group. Total Group’s senior management team are in direct contact with clients, and are readily accessible at any time.

Management Team

Paul Savory – Director (paul.savory@totalgrp.co.nz)

Paul is an Owner and Director of Total Group. Prior to Total Group Paul spent a decade in the financial services industry. His last role was in a senior position with investment bank Goldman Sachs where he ran the Financial Intermediaries Group, servicing the financial advisors at the large retail banks. Paul has a passion for service delivery and his experience in customer service is ideally suited to ensuring Total Group consistently meet the exacting demands of Total Group’s customer base. He has a hands on approach and will always go the extra mile for his clients.

Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Dip Com from Auckland University.

Stephen Jancys – Director (stephen.jancys@totalgrp.co.nz)

Steve is an Owner and Director of Total Group. Prior to joining Total Group, Steve was based in New York as an Executive Director at UBS, a Swiss Investment Bank where he was an equity research analyst. In this role, Steve was responsible for providing research coverage on a number of high profile publically listed companies. Prior to UBS Steve worked at a Global Investment bank providing merger and acquisition services to Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to his financial skills, Steve brings a wealth of relationship and client services expertise to Total Group. He has a ‘can-do’ attitude that compliments the core values of Total Group. Steve has a B.Com/BA from Auckland University. He is also a chartered accountant.

Patsy McIntosh – Head of Cleaning Operations (patsy.mcintosh@totalgrp.co.nz)

Patsy Joined Total Group in August 2015. She is responsible for overseeing Total Group’s cleaning operations.

Patsy has over 20 years of facilities maintenance experience. Patsy’s key skills are her strong customer focus and relationship building ability. This means that Patsy takes a direct and passionate interest in Total Group’s performance and service delivery standards, throughout all cleaning service contracts.

Kevin van Walen – Head of Maintenance Operations (kevin.vanwalen@totalgrp.co.nz)

Kevin joined Total Group in 2017 and is responsible for leading the company’s reactive and programmed maintenance services division. His leadership experience plays a key role in determining and implementing a strategy plan for Total Group’s Maintenance operations and also in assisting our clients develop and execute robust programmed maintenance plans for their commercial property portfolios.

Kevin has a real passion for customer service and delivery of jobs for clients on time and within budget. With a nearly two decades of experience in project management and servicing commercial properties, Kevin is well positioned to leverage his knowledge and expertise for the benefit of Total Group clients.

Prior to Total, Kevin was Operations Manager for ECL Group and before that, General Manager for McDermond Plumbing. He is also a qualified plumber and working at height technician.

 

Tim Cleary – Grounds Maintenance Manager (tim.cleary@totalgrp.co.nz)

Tim has over 15 years’ experience in Grounds Maintenance, both on the operational and account management side.

Prior to joining the Total Group team, Tim ran his own Grounds Maintenance business, providing a comprehensive range of gardening and landscape services to multi-site corporate clients throughout the central and upper North Island. The key skills that Tim brings to the Company include his strong technical knowledge and relationship building ability. Tim takes a direct interest in the performance and service delivery standards throughout all service contracts. Tim has a Bachelor of Theology. He also holds a Site Safe Passport and is a trained First Aider.

Nicky Chapman – Property Service Desk Manager (nicky.chapman@totalgrp.co.nz)

Nicky has over 15 years of property management and facilities maintenance experience. At Total Group Nicky oversees the helpdesk operation. The team of five full-time employees are responsible for logging, assigning and coordinating reactive maintenance requests for Total Group’s clients nationwide. Prior to Total Group Nicky was a facilities manager at Vodafone.

As a company we are committed to investing in our people and this includes training, professional development and ensuring each team member has a structured career pathway and opportunities to up-skill themselves.

Our training programmes are designed to meet the needs of both the individual and the company and include internal training programmes developed from over 30 years in the business and external training providers such as Site Safe and St Johns.

It is our company policy to promote from within whenever possible. A majority of our staff have extensive knowledge of, and experience in many different areas of the company.
