For these reasons, Total Group has implemented a Safety Management System that drives every aspect of our business. The way Total Group chooses sub-contractors and the way we record both the sub-contractors details and the safety documents for every job we do gives our clients assurance that Maintenance Group ‘s contractors understand their safety obligations and are planning to work safely on every Total Group job.
All sub-contractor, prior to performing any work for Total Group are required to complete a Total Group Health and Safety pre-qualification questionnaire, and if they meet our required standards, complete a Total Group induction course. All Total Group sub-contractors are required to perform a hazard ID when arriving on-site and a safe-work method statement for the tasks they perform.
On-going compliance is monitored via periodic reviews and spot checks to ensure our H&S standards are being maintained.
In addition, all Total Group sub-contractors are background checked and security cleared
We adopt health, safety and welfare as fundamental objectives on-site and company-wide. We are a Site Safe registered company and all employees, other than office admin, are Site Safe certified. We comply with all legislative requirements and hold an ACC secondary accreditation.
